West Wind Web Monitor 3.35 released 08/07/2008
We've just released an update to West Wind Web Monitor in Version 3.35. Web Monitor is a system utility that allows you to monitor Web sites to ensure that they are still up and running and returning expected results. Failures can be detected by searching content and then getting notified if the expected content is not returned. You can also fire actions (urls or applications) to fix issues. This update adds support for 64 bit versions of Windows so you can now run on Vista 64 or Windows Server 2008. There have also been a host of improvements in the Web front and the site configuration interface in the desktop app as well a host of small bug fixes.

West Wind Ajax Toolkit for ASP.NET updated 07/08/2008
The Ajax toolkit includes client and server side JSON service support without requiring ASP.NET AJAX providing an efficient and lean alternative that runs on ASP.NET 2.0 and later. It includes a drop dead easy MethodCallback control for calling server methods in pages, custom controls or a custom handler with ease. The HoverPanel component makes it easy to display pop up windows with AJAX loaded content. ModalDialog provides easy to design and customize modal dialogs. There's also a small but rich client library that provides client interfaces to all controls as well as a host of utility functions so you can optionally create pure client interfaces rather than use server controls. This update improves the JSON serializer on the server, and adds several server side helper classes for generating Server variables into client code and providing a consistent script embedding interface. The library is free and comes with C# source code.
