There's not a ton of detail up yet as I just decided to go ahead this weekend, but the registration page in the store is up and is has most of the vital information. The dates are October 14th and 15th at the San Tan Elegante Hotel in Gilbert, Arizona (Phoenix area).

If you plan on going, please don't wait until the last minute to sign up. Besides being cheaper as pricing is based sign up dates, we have to meet a minimum number of attendees to make this event possible. Given the feedback here I think we should make this minimum, but having signups 'in the bag' will help to get us there quicker without second thoughts. So don't wait if you plan on going...
I hope to see you in Arizona in October.
Aloha,

I hope you will record the sessions as screencasts, and I am willing to pay a reasonable price for it.
After reviewing all your great comments here and getting additional positive feedback from the SouthWest Fox conference I'm happy to announce that there will be Web Connection training this year at SouthWest Fox! We'll be a two day pre-conference workshop that'll cover the new features of Web Connection 6.0 and a full day on developing client centric and mobile Web applications with Web Connection.

The problem with recording sessions is that a) it slows down the machine doing the record and causes some screen issues, and b) it takes a boat load of diskspace to hold two days worth of content.
So, I don't think that's going to happen. I'll play around with this to see, but it's not very likely to happen.
+++ Rick ---
You can expect to see me there, I really look forward to see your presentation.

My guess is your computer has an external display connector that will be connected to a projector. So the first issue will be to split this signal into two, one for the projector and a second one to connect to a recorder.
Assuming this can be done without a lot of added cost of complications, the next issue will be the recording of the video signal. To better understand the answer to this question, we will need to know the format your presentation will be projected in... screen resolution? The signals MUST match or the recording will look really crappy.
I'm sure I have one or more Lenovo's and an old Dell that all have some sort of video input but not sure what the maximum resolution is on these machines. Having enough storage should be easily possible with an external USB terabyte hard drive.
A separate microphone feed will be required which might mean you have to ware of those clip on mic's since you like to get up and walk around while you speak. I have a few of these professional quality mic's I can bring if we can find a solution for recording the video. Also have a couple of handheld mic's that could be passed around for Q&A sessions.

Are you going to implement Razor view engine in west wind connection 6? :)

Ha. That would be nice, but no, that's not really possible with FoxPro as there are no reasonable language parsing features available. Razor is pretty smart about how it can deal with the transition between code and markup which is very difficult to implement.
However, Scripts and Templates support the same functionality using ASP style scripting tags, and using scripts you can run FoxPro code in scripts effectively including full support for markup delimited by code blocks.
Stuff like this:
<% SCAN %>
<div class="item">
<div><%= TCursor.Name %></div>
<div><%= TCursor.Company %></div>
</div><% ENDSCAN %>
works and has always worked for scripting pages, which take that HTML and turn it into executable FoxPro code (a self-contained PRG file basically). This is possible because of the script delimiters which allow some reasoning about what expressions and code blocks are based on. Effectively this provides the same functionality as Razor, just not the lighter, tagless syntax.

Very cool Rick. I think the nature of your presentation will bring many additional people to SW Fox.
