Products and Pricing

All West Wind Products can be purchased directly online on this site via our Secure Online Web Store. Most of our products are available in fully functional shareware or demo versions for you to try before you buy. Please see the respective product pages for more information on trying out products.

Upgrade Policy

All West Wind products are using a major version upgrade policy which allows the purchaser to receive free updates for any minor version release within the same major versions.

When a new major version is released, there is a 1 year grace period for free upgrades to the new major version based on the day of purchase. If you purchases a license within 1 year prior to the release of the new version, you are eligible for a free upgrade.

Upgrade pricing generally is set at or around 1/2 the full purchase price. Runtime licenses can be upgraded to a new major version at half the full price of the equivalent licensing price. Please contact us for Organizational or Runtime license upgrades.

Purchasing West Wind Products

You can purchase any product online in the West Wind Web Store using your Credit Card or PayPal. You need to provide a valid email address with your order to receive download and update notifications for any products you order

Although optional Disk and/or invoice shipments are available, keep in mind that these don't offer anything what you are downloading

Note: All documentation is included in Electronic Form only regardless of physical shipment.

Non-Electronic Orders

We highly encourage online payment by credit card or PayPal as it is by far the quickest way for you to receive your products via download. However, you can also purchase by phone with a credit card payment (VISA/Mastercard/Amex) by calling (503) 914-6335.

Non US/Canada international orders have to be placed online by Credit Card or PayPal. We do not accept international wire transfers or POs at this time.

You can also order by mail with a check drawn on a US Bank or an International Money Order. Send the check or Money Order for the order amount plus $10.00 shipping and handling in the US/Canada, $20.00 in all other countries. All physical payments must be made in US Dollars. Purchase Orders

While we prefer payment via our online store and credit cards you can also purchase using a company Purchase Order. If you must use a PO, a $25 service charge is applied to the invoice if the invoice is under US $1,000. To get a Quote Request for Purchase, please visit our store and fill our our Web Order Form and follow through the order process. On the payment page select Request for Purchase, which will generate a printable form you can use as a quote.

You can then file a Purchase Order from your end. Please make sure to include include a PO number (your reference), the Purchase Request number from the form above, calculation of any shipping charges, full shipping and billing addresses if they differ from each other, and an email address for the recipient of the software as well as an email address for the purchase agent to receive a PDF invoice. Please note that we accept Purchase Orders only from our US and Canadian customers. International customers from other locales can use any of our other order mechanisms including Credit Card, PayPal or per pre-paid invoice by check or money order. Purchase Orders

Resellers

If you are a reseller please contact Rick Strahl by email with information about your reseller business and a link to your Web site. The resale discount of our products is 20% of the retail price of each product. Upon approval we'll provide you a promo code to apply to online orders to receive your resale discount.

If you place a reseller order that will be shipped electronically, please provide the email address of the final recipient of the software in addition to a sales contact email address.

Free Support

Free support is provided for all products on the West Wind Support Message Board Web site. There are forums for each of the products and we will do our best to answer your questions there within 24 hours, but usually it's much quicker. Please be precise in your question - the more detail you provide the easier it is for us to help you. We work hard to address any issues via the message board so please take advantage of this resource.

Paid Support

We also provide full featured support for any application specific issue or issues that can't be resolved via the message board. Paid one on one support by phone, electronic meeting or email is billed at $175.00/hr payable by Credit Card/PayPal in ½ hour increments.
