Requirements

The .NET WSDL Proxy Generator for Visual FoxPro has the following requirements:

Visual FoxPro 9.0

The Proxy Generation Wizard requires Visual FoxPro 9.0, but generated proxy classes can run in Visual FoxPro 8.0. However, it is recommended to run with Visual FoxPro 9.0 nevertheless as we no longer test all scenarios extensively on VFP 8.0. Earlier versions of FoxPro are not supported.

Both the generator and the generated proxy classes require .NET in order to run.

This tool uses the .NET Framework to create Web Service clients that are callable from your FoxPro code and supports both the Version 2 and 4 of the .NET runtimes. These two versions are the two major versions in circulation and support a range of sub-versions of .NET. Version 2 supports 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5. Version 4 supports 4.0, 4.5, 4.5.1, 4.5.2 and 4.6. When specifying .NET runtimes explicitly only use the V2 and V4 monikers to specify the runtime used. Windows 7, 8 and 10 all have .NET 4.0 installed natively and Vista has 2.0 installed.
