Ready to check out the Web Store? Then download our Shareware version.
It's fully functional, but includes
no source code (only ASP.Net page templates) and thus has only limited customizability. It also prints a shareware notice on
the bottom of most pages. But it is useful
to check out how the store works and is configured and allows for
customization with your own configuration and layouts to get an idea of
operation and design. When you're ready you can step up to the full
version and get the registered source code.

here - 22megs)
Microsoft IIS 5 or later
Microsoft Sql Server 2000, 2005, 2008 or 2005/2008

After you've downloaded
You run an installation program which will prompt you for an
installation directory that will be the location of your Web project.
Following the installation a post setup executable will pop up to allow
you to configure a virtual Web directory for the Web Store so that the
application will be accessible through your IIS Web Server. Generally
you can just accept the defaults for this directory unless you want to
change the name of the directory from the WebStore default. You
also need to set permissions on this directory to allow Web access - a dialog will
guide you with additional instructions.
The Web Store comes with detailed documentation in HTML Help format
in a file called wwWebStore.chm. This help file discusses in detail how
to configure and set up your Web application - open the User Guide |
Creating a new Web Store Step by Step topic and follow through. It
includes instructions on the above utility as well as configuring and
setting up your database and your Web Store application.
