I am having a problem with sending text emails with international characters (such as an o with an umlaut) in the body of a text email.

The text displays correctly in VFP data and is written out to a text file that also shows the info correctly. But when the email is sent these characters are showing as ?.

Is there a setting or something I need to tweak to get this text to go out correctly? I'm using Squirrel Mail for receiving test emails.

TIA for your help.

Margaret

This problem might be an artifact of using Squirrel Mail - doesn't seem to be an issue in Outlook. Sorry to have bugged you.
